Faith Can Not Be Forced

There are a lot of times where Christians get the wrong idea of faith in their mind. They want to "Go into the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15)

Some do not understand that their is a difference in preaching to someone who wants to listen then to someone who does not. I can admit it, I have problems in realizing this too, so do not feel alone! In reality, when that happens that is when one forces faith onto another. Many do not realize that is what they are doing since their faith is so interesting to them that they can not possible imagine someone not being intrigued by the Word.

Faith can be a very tricky at times since it does take... well a lot of faith. All the stories in the Bible and the miracles that Jesus did can be hard to really wrap your mind around it. I know for myself, I sometimes doubt. This is something I am not ashamed of. My faith diminishes sometimes in the aspect of how can all of this be real since it is so mind blowing.

The way I look at it is struggling with your faith is a good thing, so do not be discouraged. These times in your life are the ones that help you grow as a Christian. Keeping growing in your relationship with the Lord and you need failures to do this. Welcome it with open arms!

XOXO
