My Favorite Psalm

Hello! Joslyn here, and today I want to share my favorite Psalm to you guys. This was a homework assignment for my Persuasive Writing class, and I thought you would like to read it.

In times of need and despair, we feel alone as if no one was by our side. Psalm 121 is my favorite because it is a good reminder that the Lord is always with us. When things go wrong in one's life, one tends to think God has left us. Why would God let this happen to me if he always protected me.

"He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber." (Psalm 121:3) This verse is a good reminder that the Lord is always there to hold us up. We are the most important thing to him, as should He be to us, He will never slack or sleep on us. God is alright and so gracious which I know I tend to forget. He is my Father who watches over me "both now and forevermore." (Psalm 121:9)

It is so cool to think that God loves us so much that thought any hardship He will be "the shade at [our] right hand." (Psalm 121:5) He is the only who will never leave or forsake us.
