Hello all of my lovelies,
I know all of y'all were probably wondering where I had gone or even if I was alive still!😂 Life has been so crazy, and quite honestly, I just did not have the passion for my blog anymore. I decided to take a much needed break, but now my husband and I are back, better than ever! Well, I just wanted to update all of y'all since it has been over a year since we last chatted.
To start off, we MOVED! We were in California, and now we are in North Carolina because my husband got stationed here for the Marine Corps. Also, that is new! You guys knew that my husband, Allen, was in the process to join the Marine Corps, and he finally did! He left for bootcamp last October, and now we are at our First Dusty Station. We love it here in North Carolina because we are so close to the ocean. I never want to go back to California while my husband misses it dearly. I do miss family, but I love new adventures! Do y'all?
Next big change is we got married! We got married in May of last year, so we have been married for a little over a year and a half! 💍 We love married life, and we added to our family by getting a dog! His name is Cain. I will post a pic below, so y'all can soak up all of his cuteness! He is a 7 month old German Shepherd/Labradoodle Mix! He is the apple to our eye even though he drives me crazy!😜
I also started a new job! I know work from home helping individuals go back to school specifically the military community. I am so grateful for this job because it allows me to go anywhere with it, and it puts me into the community, making new friends everywhere I go! I love just making a difference in my student's life as they never thought going back to school was achievable!🎓 My husband is an Electrician in the Marines, and he is getting ready to leave for a bit for a training exercise all the way across the country! I am definitely going to miss him, but on the bright side, he has leave till 9/9 because of Hurricane Dorian. We are in the impact zone with the anticipation of it hitting Friday. We do not plan on evacuating unless it is absolutely necessary as it it so hard to get back home after the Hurricane, and we don't really have anywhere to go. We would appreciate all of your prayers for everyone in the impact zone of Dorian! I know God has our back when it comes to this natural disaster. Perfect time to put our trust in him, right?!
Till next time,
Joslyn Brown
