The wind and the waves...

Hey guys, Allen again!

Jesus tells us not to let the wind and the waves distract us. Well what exactly are the "wind and the waves?" The wind has a cold breeze at times; so I think that the wind is the reminder of our sins in the past, and Jesus tells us not to worry about any of it, because it is forgiven through Him and repentance has come. If you confess your mistakes, he will always be faithful and loving to forgive. But the waves are different, right? They are the sins of the present. But even then, Jesus Christ tells us that anything is possible through Him. That means breaking the chains of addiction and a sinful lifestyle, even though the battle will always be there,but the war has been won through the blood, and if we give all of our worries of the wind or the waves to God, our battles will be fought for us.
